I am my own BFF
Celebrate your strengths and feel great about your unique self.
I think my body's a beauty
Magazine bodies are make-believe. We'll help you see how all of us are gorgeous in our own way.
I expect respect
Stand up to bullying and peer pressure in a way that works using - you guessed it - "i" statements.
iGuy Empowerment Workshops
iGuy is a straight-to-the-point, lighthearted empowerment workshop that prepares 9-12 year old boys to make smart decisions in even the toughest situations. We'll challenge society's definition of masculinity, unmask our secret identity, tackle online safety, and help build relationships we can feel proud of.
Who: Boys in grades 4-7
When: Monday, May 12th, 6-8p.m.
I don't need to be Superman
A superhero takes many forms. Let's talk about what it really means to be a guy, krypnonite and all.
I am not my biceps
What you see in video games isn't real life. Real power comes from within, and has nothing to do with muscles.
I express myself
Newsflash: Guys have feelings too! Let's learn how to express them in a healthy way.
I get and give respect
Assertiveness isn't weakness, and confidence isn't arrogance. To deal with conflict in a way that works we
need to know the difference.
More information on registration will be available soon.
As you all know Sandra Meister has left Walton Elementary and has been reassigned as the principal of Alderson Elementary. Due to the abrupt nature of her leaving, all of us were unable to personally say our goodbyes and thank her for leading our school for the past 5 years.
Therefore, the Walton PAC will be hosting a gathering on Friday, February 28th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the Walton gym to give us and Sandra an opportunity to exchange our hugs and goodbyes. This evening will not be complete without your children, so we encourage you to bring them as well.
Let’s give Sandra the warmest Walton send off she deserves!
Please RSVP by Feb. 21 at email@example.com
