Toastmajors | ToastmarshallsWind & Tide's Public Speaking Program provides the opportunity for students to continue after successfully completing Toastminors. Offered as a second-year program, our Toastmajors curriculum provides a deeper focus on the keys of public speaking, includes more challenging speech topics and criteria, and expands upon the leadership opportunities previously covered in Toastminors. Returning for a third year, students will join the ranks as Toastmarshalls. In this program, students will continue to grow their confidence, master their skills as effective public speakers, and broaden their leadership abilities through mentorship.


There is the mastery of Toastminors key concepts (10 keys, etc.) There is a focus on Leadership as well (we use a Leader Acronym which covers expansion lessons). Toastmajors still complete the Toastminor curriculum, but take it to the next step in terms of their speeches (more independent creation as opposed to guided by a teacher), then opportunities to demonstrate and lead within the class. I assume there will be several new students joining who have not completed Toastminors, so any Toastmajors would help and mentor new students.
