Workshops:
Float your boat - Discover why and how things sink and float - everything from an egg to a paperclip. Try to design, build, and test your own unsinkable boat.
Gas Blast - Take off on a high energy adventure into the world of gases. Discover how gases can be made naturally and chemically and build and take home your own anemometer that moves with the help of those gases. With the power of gases you will see a geyser that erupts more than 5 meters high!
Bugs, Bugs, Bugs - Discover the differences between an insect and a spider. Learn all about bugs and even observe for yourself how an insect sees the world. We’ll even bring in a live bug for you to observe!
Mighty Magnets - Get "attracted" to the magnificent world of magnets. Use repulsion to drive a magnetic car. Feel the mysterious force of magnetism and levitate floating magnets.
Mystery Science - There is not much difference between science and magic and we'll teach you why. You'll learn a few of our tricks. With the magic of science you'll make water disappear, stick a skewer through a balloon and more.
Soak It Up - Become a FUN science soaker! Discover all of the neat ways that we can soak things up. Explore the world of chromatography, super absorbency crystals and much more!
Tower power - Become a structural engineer and discover some famous towers. We'll build our own towers and even see if they can withstand an EARTHQUAKE!!
Body Shop- Step into the world of the Pediatrician’s office. Take a deep breath as we listen to our heartbeat with real stethoscopes. Discover your reflexes. Work as a team and see if you can beat the x-ray challenge. Experiment with the brain and see why it’s so important to wear a helmet when riding your bike!
