**NEW Refund / Withdrawal Policy**

As of September 2025, all refund and withdrawal requests made before a program begins will be subject to a $5.00 service fee per individual program. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment minus the service fee.

Refunds and withdrawals for programs registered through Coquitlam Recreation Centre or Place des Arts will follow their own policies:

**Important Schedule Update**

Beginning September 2025, the dismissal bell will ring at 2:35 PM instead of 2:45 PM.

We are currently working with our vendors to adjust program start times to 2:45 PM and extend classes until 4:30 PM. However, please note that program end times may vary.
Before registering, be sure to check the website for the most up-to-date schedule for each program.

Programs can be cancelled if minimum registration is not met.

Learn discipline, self- control and self- defense techniques while improving your fitness and flexibility. kids martial arts classes are designed to teach discipline, respect, and self- defense. Min: 10 & Max: 24 students

Explore the principles of character design, panel composition, page layout and narrative techniques in this creative comics class. Learn pencilling, inking and storytelling techniques to create a multi-page work of art. Max: 12 students

Robotics (2-5) by RoboKids

The program is an exciting introduction of fundamental Robotics. Students will learn mechanical design, construction, programming and teamwork skills. In pairs, students will use LEGO NXT building elements, motors & sensors to build different robots, and program them with a computer to move, react, and solve challenges. This class is good for any student who is interested in Robotics, Math, and Science. Each session is one and a half hours. Max: 16 students

Join us for a “clayful” art adventure and learn to create beautiful items from air-dried clay! Combine your imagination with hand building techniques to create decorative and functional pieces. All creations will be painted for a finished look. Projects will be themed for each season. Max: 12 students

Badminton (K-2) by Courtskills

A fun game based introduction to the sport. Improved development is influenced by technical play and physical abilities of the participants. One of the important skills in badminton is agility. Agility can be achieved by improving balance and strength of the lower limb. Plyometric exercise can increase speed. Exercise improves the participant’s development and reduces risk of injury. After School Activities Registration Instructions

Step 1: Register - When you select the Register button you will be directed to our fundraising page where you can create a user account, register and pay for the Walton After School Activities. Payment is by credit card. Please register child by their 'called name'.

Step 2: Complete Waiver - After you complete registration, please return to this page to submit your waiver form. Waiver MUST be submitted within 48 hours of registration or your child will be automatically withdrawn and a fee of $5 will be charged.

Step 3: Waiting List - We keep a waiting list for any program that is full. Spot may become available from time to time. To put your child on the waitlist, please click on the link.

Step 4: Report Absences - It is the parents responsibility to remind their children(s) of their enrollment and participation in the after school program. On the day of the program, all registered children(s) must gather at the gym after the bell rings and report to the volunteer. Walton PAC, program instructors, and school don't have the capabilities to search school premises for any unaccounted children(s). If your child will be absent for any reason, please fill out our absence form by 2PM on the day of the program. Please fill out this form even if your child was not at school the day of the absence. This will ensure instructors do not waste class time determining where an absent child is before starting class.

Step 5 (optional): Volunteer - We are always seeking parent volunteers to take attendance for our programs. The volunteer time will be from 2:30 - 3PM. Without parent volunteers, we won't be able to offer and run the program successfully. Thank you for volunteering your time. We are seeking 2 parent volunteers each day.
